Point-fixed facades

The ultimate visual appeal

  • In the case of point-fixed facade systems, attractive mountings (stainless steel countersunk head or flat head) are the only fixings visible from the outside. Point fixings fix the glass on a supporting structure if necessary and therefore allow for a wide range of variations. Both system solutions and project-specific applications can be developed. As point-fixed facades generally do not need individual approval, the facade planning process tends to be fast and inexpensive.

  • Point-fixed facade systems are secured into single or double glazing using fixing elements like stainless steel countersunk or flat head holders. If necessary, spider fixings are used to fix the glass to the supporting structure. Together they result in a patent-pending system that often does not require an individual (one-off) approval.
